My Voice
My Vote
Welcome to MyVoiceMyVote.org
What is this?
I created this simple website because I’m deeply concerned about the direction of leadership in our country. Instead of listing complaints or pointing fingers, I want to reframe the conversation: What values should truly define a leader in America today?
I’m not here to push a party line — I don’t lean left or right. My beliefs are outlined below. I don’t think either major party represents the reasonable, grounded leadership we need.
Who am I?
I’m not part of any political party or organization. I'm a parent. I have kids who I want to see live in a reasonable world. I want to work in a reasonable economy, and pay my reasonable share of taxes. I'm probably a lot like you.
I don’t have an agenda. I’m just one person who believes that thoughtful, values-based ideas — shared between people who trust each other — can grow into something powerful.
What do I want?
I don’t want your money. I just want you to spend a few minutes and read the ideas below. If they resonate with you, I invite you to add your name and email. I won’t share your information. I’ll simply keep a count of how many people feel the same way — and are committed to voting based on these shared values.
If you like this idea, share it with your like-minded friends and colleagues. This is about conversation, not confrontation.
It starts with your voice, and your vote.
If enough of us come together, we can create real, positive change.

A Vision for a Stronger, United America -- 14 Points
America is great—and has been since its founding. Built on a Constitution crafted nearly 250 years ago, our nation is grounded in the rule of law, individual freedoms, and inalienable rights. These foundational principles must be upheld, not just in word, but through our ongoing commitment to the values set forth in the U.S. Constitution.
As an established nation, the United States—and indeed all sovereign countries—must respect clearly defined borders and the sovereignty of other nations. While treaties and international agreements are valuable, national borders must remain secure, stable, and respected.
Alliances among nations that share a commitment to human rights and individual freedoms are essential to building a just and secure world. The United States must continue to support and engage with global institutions like NATO, the United Nations, climate-focused organizations, and other coalitions that promote peace, cooperation, and a shared vision for the future. These partnerships are critical in facing global challenges and protecting the values we hold dear.
Borders matter. We must have clear, reasonable laws that govern immigration and access to our country. A fair and functional immigration system is essential to national security and economic vitality.
Life is sacred, and the government should not interfere in deeply personal medical decisions made by individuals and their healthcare providers. At the same time, people have the right to offer support and options to those navigating such decisions—respectfully and without coercion.
We must care for our planet and environment with urgency and resolve. Sustainable policies are not a luxury—they are a necessity to preserve humanity for future generations.
Government should operate with efficiency, transparency, and accountability. It should not lean into ideologies—whether "woke" or "anti-woke." Instead, our public servants should focus on serving all citizens. Those who seek personal power or gain over the public good should be held accountable and voted out. A modern government must include systems for ongoing review, adaptation, and improvement. Changes must be carefully considered and thoughtfully executed.
Civility and mutual respect are non-negotiable. We must honor each other's dignity, even when we disagree. Hate speech and discriminatory actions have no place in our society or our government. All public figures should model respectful discourse and inclusive leadership.
Economic independence begins with a strong domestic manufacturing base. While global diversity of labor and resources allows for meaningful trade, protectionism and trade barriers often do more harm than good. Free trade, when fair and well-structured, promotes shared prosperity.
Science is essential. Our ability to advance medicine, technology, and innovation depends on our respect for research and data. Investing in science is investing in the future.
Healthcare should be accessible to all. While those who dedicate their careers to care deserve to be well-compensated, healthcare should not be a vehicle for outsized profits. Public policy must support both access and equity.
A reasonable and compassionate social safety net is fundamental to a functioning society. No one should be left to suffer in poverty or live on the streets. At the same time, our programs should promote self-sufficiency and provide strong support for those facing aging or disability.
An educated and informed populace is the bedrock of a healthy democracy. A free press and an effective education system empower citizens to make informed choices and hold leaders accountable. They are vital to the long-term success of our nation and the broader global community.
Finally, our economic system must be fair, resilient, and inclusive. We need an independent and effective Federal Reserve that fosters shared prosperity. Government must ensure a balanced playing field for consumers, businesses, and investors alike. Spending must align with revenues and the overall economic and business cycles.
